• Endodontic Therapy is a procedure used to save a tooth that has an infected nerve (pulp) by removing the infected nerve, dis-infecting the canal and sealing the canal where the nerve previously resided.
  • Infection of the nerve is caused primarily from deep decay and sometimes from blunt trauma to the tooth resulting in damage to the blood supply
  • The most common symptoms from an infected nerve are temperature sensitivity, chewing sensitivity, dull or throbbing pain, swelling, radiating pain and pain that is spontaneous and unprovoked.
