Daniel Penan, D.M.D.
Family and Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Penan is originally from Central Massachusetts. After receiving his B.A. from Clark University, he attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he obtained his dental degree. After dental school, Dan moved to Florida to do advanced training in a general practice hospital residency program at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He later returned to New England and has been practicing in Maine for over eleven years. Dan has two grown up daughters and lives with his life partner, Heidi in the local area. When not practicing dentistry he can be found hiking in the mountains of Maine and New Hampshire or skiing at Sugarloaf Mountain (favorite trail- “Hayburner”).
Professionally, Dr. Penan is a cosmetic and restorative dentist placing crowns, veneers, resin and porcelain bonded restorations. In addition to endodontics he also treats oral facial pain and Temporal Mandibular Joint (TMJ) disorders.
